Arilas, Aghios Stefanos and Aghios Georgios

The towns

Arilas as the nearby Aghios Stefanos is a small and quiet village with its beach as the only local attraction.
There are some particular small islets just in front of Arilas' beach which are called Sikia, Gineka and Kravia.
This village is not very big, it is developed along the coast bay and offers basic structures for the tourists.
Looking at the sea, there is a promontory on your left that divides Arilas from Aghios Georgios.
Here there’s a nice walking path along the promontory that will take you to a marvelous and lonely cove.



Aghios Stefanos is a small village, just few houses and tourist accommodation placed along a nice bay surrounded by hills. 
This small village has begun to develop as a tourist resort because is set in a beautiful bay with a large sandy bay. 
Aghios Stefanos is the ideal place for those who want quiet and want to be far from a massive tourism but near to many bays and to a particular resort like Sidari.



Aghios Georgios is a small village placed in one of the largest bay of Corfu island and if you will arrive here from Paleokastrisa you’ll have a really stunning view. 
This area is very green with cypress and olive trees that surround the beach and give the right idea of the Mediterranean nature. 
At the end of the bay there’s a cape with a lighthouse that divides Aghios Georgios from Arilas. Here you can find also some ruins that remind an ancient time. 
This village consists of few houses along the coast with the basic services for the tourists.

The beaches

Arilas offers a very long and quiet beach that is ideal for families with children. During the day you have the possibility to enjoy some activities such as windsurf as this part of the coast is enough windy. 
The beach is sandy just near the sea, for the rest is rocky. 
The sea here is not very deep and there are some small islets in front of the bay which you can reach by swimming. 


A. Stefanos is a very large sandy bay that offers both privacy and tourist facilities. 
Sometimes there is a pretty strong wind that makes the beach a little bit dirty. 
From the small pear next to Aghios Stefanou it is possible to take the ferries for Mathtaki and Othoni (Diapondia islands).


A. Georgios beach is really long and follows the entire bay. 
Here you can take for rent beach umbrellas, deck chairs and enjoy different kinds of tourist attractions and sports. 
The beach is so long that also in the high season you can find privacy and relaxation.

How to move

Arilas, A. Stefanos e A. Georgios are connected with Corfu old town and some others villages many times every day by the local bus service. You can also rent cars, jeeps, motorbikes or bicycles to move autonomously around Corfu island.
You can also take a boat for rent or use the taxi boat service to reach others part of this coast.

The shops

In Arilas, A. Stefanos and A. Georgios you can find some supermarkets, a grocery, some tourist shops and local restaurants where you can eat. 

Amusement

In this calm area the only pleasure you can have is the sun, the sea and the beach.
